Sighing by the Eyes is a series of photographs documenting a land art piece in a Trembling Aspen Forest in Yukon. The tree’s were underlining / accentuated with black paint.

Sighing, breath escapes us. Sighing by the eyes, the sight of the breath escapes us. I’m forcing the gaze by drawing the Trembling Aspen’s eyes contours. Look at the forest like we look at the apple of our eyes. The forest looks at us, because of her we are alive. We can destroy it. She will resuscitate, we won’t. (Text by C. Vandebrouck)
